Dear Parents,
We have all heard about the tragic news in Japan: The earthquake, tsunami, and the nuclear crisis. The Sunrise ASB has a way we can help.
Unfortunately, it is a quick turnaround. Some of you may have heard about Ron and Don’s airlift to Japan. This is a KIRO radio station willing to ship supplies to an orphanage. Our plan is to help get some supplies from Sunrise to the radio station in time to send off to Japan.
During Art night and in classroom foyers there will be boxes collecting supplies that can go to orphans. We are collecting:
-new or gently used stuffed animals
-crayons
-paper
-stationary
-batteries
-canned tuna
-canned chicken
If you’d like to help out, please bring these items to Art night or send in with your child to school by Thursday, March 31st.
